Fall sports update: week of October 10th

Men’s Cross Country – On Saturday, the team traveled to the Medina Invitational. This Friday, the team will compete in the Suburban League Meet at Silver Creek Metro Park.

 

Men’s Golf – Sophomore Jack Kinder traveled to Pine Hills Golf Course Monday to compete in the first half of the OHSAA District Tournament, he will return on Tuesday to finish the course.

 

Men’s Soccer –  On Saturday, the team traveled to Bexley where they won 1-0. Today, the team will be staying home in a matchup against Aurora. The team has been placed first in the Akron West District and is scheduled to play the winner of Keystone (27) and Fairless (26), after a week one bye on the 22nd.

 

Football – On Friday, the team traveled to Copley to compete in their annual rivalry game, and lost 30-28. The team will stay home to play their homecoming game against Kent this Friday, at halftime homecoming King and Queen will be crowned, and the theme will be pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

 

Women’s Cross Country – The team travelled to Trumbull County Fairgrounds for the Legends Meet. The team placed fourth overall. Senior Megan Diulus earned the number one spot on the Revere leaderboard and is the first girl at Revere to ever run under nineteen minutes. Junior Laura Wagner also landed herself on the record board as a top twenty runner at Revere. The team will travel to Silver Creek Metro Park for their last all team meet for the Suburban League Championship. 

 

Women’s Golf – On Thursday, the team traveled to Fox Den Golf Course to compete in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament, and finished 7th overall

 

Women’s Soccer – The team celebrated their senior night on Monday against Norwayne, and won 3-0. The team played Aurora in a suburban contest on Monday, and won 4-0.

 

Women’s Tennis – Senior Maddie Kavanaugh won her sectional match in singles and will advance to districts this week. 

 

Volleyball – The team celebrated their senior night on Thursday against Copley. The girl’s won the first two sets, but were unable to finish the game due to an injury. The team will play Canton South at home on Monday.
