Men’s Cross Country – The team competed at the Suburban League meet last weekend and earned a third place finish overall. Akshay Elango placed eighth overall in the race. 

 

Men’s Golf – The team competed at sectionals two weeks ago. The team placed 10th, but they will not advance to districts.

 

Men’s Soccer – The team was ranked the #1 seed in the district bracket and continue to hold this title. The Minutemen will play the winner of the Fairless High School and Triway High School game on Saturday. Seniors James Effinger and Trevor Rorabaugh were listed on the All-American Watchlist.

 

Football – The team traveled to play Kent-Roosevelt on Friday and won 22-0. Cole Brownlee and Lawrence Saltis are finalists for Game Ball of the Week by Cleveland.com. The Minutemen are currently in the playoffs and will travel to Aurora on Friday for their last regular season game.

 

Women’s Cross Country – The team competed in the Suburban League race last weekend and placed second overall. Four runners placed in the top ten, including Megan Diulus with a second place finish. 

 

Women’s Golf – The team participated at sectionals two weeks ago. Their season ended, but the team scored a total of 404.

 

Women’s Soccer – The team on Monday beat Norwayne with a score of 2-0. Scorers were seniors Morgan Fee and Anna Clarke.The team faced Aurora on Wednesday and won 4-0. Senior Olivia Papouras recorded her 32nd career shutout, which is a school record.

 

Women’s TennisMaddie Kavenagh and Morgan Dobos competed at Districts on Friday and Saturday. The duo finished second in the district and will compete at the state tournament next weekend.

 

Volleyball – Last Thursday the team celebrated their senior night for seniors Anna Freeman and Dakota Drenth. The Varsity team lost the game in 5 sets, winning the first 2 sets and losing the last 3.
