Fall Sports Update

The Boys’ Cross Country team ran against Copley Thursday and won 24-35. Top finishers were Akshay Elango, Anthony Derubeis, Andy Long, Damon Furukawa, and Nolan Luther.

 

The Boys’ Golf team placed 4th in the Suburban League tournament on Thursday. Top performances came from Grant Banning with a score of 80, Drew Malajikian with a score of 84, and Cale Stephens with a score of 88.

 

The Boys’ Soccer team traveled to Copley on Tuesday and won by a score of 3-2. Trevor Rorabaugh scored all three goals. On Thursday the boys competed against Tallmadge and won by a score of 7-0. It was a team effort, for each goal was scored by a different athlete. Their next game will take place next Tuesday at Kent Roosevelt.

 

The Football team faced Barberton at Rudy Sharkey Stadium last week and lost 49-13. On Friday the team went up against Highland for the homecoming game and lost 55-14.

 

Last Saturday, the Girls’ Varsity Cross Country team ran at Strongsville and every single girl that ran ran their personal best time. Junior Katie Kinder ran herself into the Revere record books with the fifteenth fastest recorded time in Revere history. The team ran against Copley Thursday  and won.

 

The Girls’ Golf team traveled to face Tallmadge at Loyal Oak Golf Course and lost by ten points last Thursday. The girls have another Suburban League tournament this Wednesday. 

 

The Girls’ Soccer team faced off against Copley Wednesday night and tied 0-0.

 

Last week the Girls’ Tennis team participated in the Suburban League tournament and took second place overall. Suburban League Champs were singles Morgan Dobos and singles Maddie Kavenagh. Wednesday night was the team’s senior night, which resulted in a loss to Strongsville. The team faced off against Hawken on Thursday. Wins resulted from Dobos and Kavenaugh.

 

Varsity Volleyball competed against Tallmadge and lost 3-0 on Tuesday. Then on Thursday the team played Barberton at home and won 3-0.
