Men’s Basketball – On Tuesday, the team stayed home to compete against rival Copley in a game they lost 46-42. The team will travel to Kent Roosevelt on Friday to try to best the Roughriders, and improve their Suburban League leading record of 14-4.

 

Women’s Basketball – The Lady Minutemen stayed at home to face Highland on Saturday, and lost 53-35. On Wednesday, the team wrapped up the regular season by traveling to Brecksville-Broadview Heights, and lost 49-19. The team finishes the season with a final record of 8-14. 

 

Wrestling –  On Saturday, the team traveled to Stow in a match they lost 50-25. Wins came from Lucca Bruno, Brandon Brinker, and Aidan Jones. The team’s wrestler of the week award was given to Lucca Bruno. The team traveled to Padua on Thursday and won 52-27, top performers included Austin Ogle, Colin Butler, Colin Jocek, and Nate Steiger. On Friday, the team travels to Walsh Jesuit High School to compete against Highland and Tallmadge.

 

Swimming and Diving –   The Revere men’s swim team is traveling to the Akron Natatorium for sectionals on Friday February 9. The girls team will be traveling to the Natatorium on Saturday February 10 for their sectionals meet.

 

Indoor Track – The team traveled to Spire Institute last Thursday to compete in their last regular season meet. Junior Leah Valentine set a new record for the 200m with a time of 27.60. The 4x200m relay team consisting of Valentine, Charlotte Keenan, Ally Meixner and Chloe Grimm also surpassed the old record with a new time of 1.52.35. All athletes ranked top 24 in the region are moving on to the All Star meet next Friday at Spire.
