Men’s basketball– The team faced Barberton last Friday and won 72-51. They will play Padua on Tuesday and Highland on Friday.

Women’s basketball– The women beat Barberton on their home court 46-39 on Saturday. The team will travel to Highland Saturday.

Wrestling – The team competed at the Suburban League tournament over the weekend. Top finishers were Sal Bonacuse in 5th, Austin Ogle in 6th, Brandon Brinker in 7th and Zach Olechnowics 7th. Senior night is this week against Stow on Thursday.

Women’s Swimming – The women finished in 3rd place in the Suburban League Swimming Championships. The 200 free relay finished 1st place in the Suburban League, while the 400 free relay team finished in 2nd. 

Men’s Swimming – The men finished in 4th place in the Suburban League Swimming Championships. The 400 free relay placed third overall in the league.

Indoor Track – The team competed at Spire last Wednesday against a variety of teams. Top finishers were Akshay Elango placing second in the 3200 meter, Andy Long placing third in the 3200 meter, the boys 4×800 team placing first, Andrew Farrow placing second in high jump, Aleni Bender placing second in the 800 meter, Ellie Meech placing third in the 1600 meter, Megan Diulus placing first in the 3200 meter, Nina Verner placing first in the 60 meter hurdles and Ally Meixner placing third in long jump. The team will return to Spire next week for their third meet of the season.
