Spring sports update: Week of May 1st
Baseball – The team traveled to Barberton on Thursday to compete against the Magics in a conference game, and lost 6-5. This week, the team will stay home to face off against Highland on Tuesday, and Copley on Wednesday. The team will wrap up the week on Saturday with a double-header against GlenOak and Louisville.
Softball – The team will begin the week by traveling to games against Kent Roosevelt on Monday and Aurora on Wednesday. At the end of the week, the team will stay home to play Barberton on Friday, and Norton on Saturday.
Men’s Lacrosse – On the 29th, Revere men’s lacrosse stayed home in a match against Hunting Valley where they lost a close match of 7-16. The team will face off against Wadsworth on Tuesday.
Men’s Tennis – On the 25th, the team played rival Copley, and won 4-1. The win maintained the squads perfect record in the Suburban League, a tradition stretching four years. Wins came from Merit Wagstaff, Sam Lazbin, Colin McDonald, and a double team of Daniel Choi and Akshay Elango. The team then beat Westlake on the 26th 4-1. The team will face St. Ignatius on Monday for their Senior Night match.
Track and Field – On Saturday the team traveled to Tallmadge for the Tallmadge invitational. Both girls and boys took home a first place trophy at the meet. This week the team competes against Highland on Monday (rescheduled due to weather), Barberton on Wednesday for their senior night, and will travel to Norwayne on Friday for the Dwight Schar Invitational.
Women’s Lacrosse – The team will begin their week by staying home against Wadsworth on Tuesday, and Bay High School on Thursday. On Saturday the team will stay home to face off against St. Joseph Academy.
