RHS Key Club holds the Koffee Klatch sale every week to raise money that can be donated to different organizations.
Key Club is a community service organization sponsored by Kiwanis. Key Club helps raise money for different charities including Akron Children’s Hospital and Battered Women’s Shelter. RHS Intervention Specialist, Jack Cooper, is adviser for Key Club and has been for eleven years.
“Key Club is a great place to learn how to give back to the community,” Cooper said.
This year is the first for Koffee Klatch which was created by Jack Cooper. This sale offers different flavored coffees, donuts, muffins and cupcakes. Cooper shares that the student body and staff support Koffee Klatch. They also have three volunteers from Key Club every week.
The Koffee Klatch is held every Thursday morning from 7:00 – 7:30 am in the cafeteria.
